Here's what went down at the Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the VFMA took place on January 31, 2024 at the Valley Forge Firehouse Meeting Room. Some 40 people turned out to hear what the VFMA has been up to, and to vote on new items moving forward. Board President Dave Blazek kicked off the night with a review of the long list of achievements and improvements enacted in 2023. Treasurer JR Abbott briefed everyone on the association's firm financial status. Then Barbara Cohen of the Schuylkill River Center gave a presentation followed by Amy Johnson who brought everyone up to speed with what the Vaslley Forge Park Alliance is up to. Kamila Jodzio briefed the audience on this year's dinner dance as well. Then votes were taken on changes to the bylaws, and on seating new board members. It was a swift and packed two hours.
